Weekly Vocabulary Words

2. monastery -a house or place of residence occupied by a community of persons or monks, living in seclusion under religious vows

3. convent- a community of persons devoted to religious life under a superior

4. Aramaic - the common language spoken through the entire area of the Near East including Israel. It was used by the common people including Jesus

5. Semitic - pertaining to the Semites and Jews or their languages

2. scale drawing -drawing something that is accurate but in a different size

3. percent- is a ratio of a number to 100

4. proportion - is a number sentence stating that two ratios are equal

5. Decagon - is a ten sided figure
