2016 - 2017 Supply List

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Below you will find some general rules and regulations, as well the school 2016-2017 school supply list. If you have any questions please bring them to the parent orientation meeting on September 7th, 2015 at 7:00PM.

All supplies must be in by the first day of classes.


General Supplies - These will be shared amongst all of your child's classes.

1. A box of colored pencils
2. Black/Blue pens
3. Pencils
4. Glue Stick
5. Pack of Highlighters
6. (10) Packs of 3x5 index cards
7. Loose leaf
8. 1 package of plastic zip-lock bags (quart size)
9. (5) packets of post it notes
10. (2) Sharpeners - please note one will be collected an kept in your child's homeroom.
11. Book covers (transparent if possible)
12. Ruler
13. Scissor
14. Scotch Tape
15. (3) Reams of Xerox Paper
16. Every student must have a flash drive. This can be shared with all their classes.

Cleaning Supplies

1. (4) rolls of paper towels
2. (2) container of clorox wipes
3. (2) Bottle of hand sanitizer
4. (2) boxes of Kleenex


ELA List

1. (2) - 2 pocket folders 
2. (3) marble notebooks
3. Pocket Dictionary 

Reading/Social Studies List

1. (3) - 3 pocket folders 
2. (3) marble notebooks
3. *Book to purchase for Module 1 (September):
Inside Out and Back Again by Thanhha Lai, HarperCollins Publishers, 2013 $9.00
(If you would like me to order it for you, the money is due on the first day of school in an envelope with your name and grade on it).

Science List

1. (1) - 2 pocket folders

Math/Religion List

Summer Reading Assignments for students entering Grade 7or 8 in September

Grade 7: You will read the book Wrinkle in Time Lexile Level 890 L.

Grade 8: You will read the Call of the Wild by Jack London Lexile Level 990L.

Grade 7 and 8 (Religion) Must read Mr. Blue by Myles Connolly

Questions about the book will be added to my blog in July. You should be able to answer all questions that are posted. You will be tested in September, when you return to school, on your reading. Please see me if you have any questions.


Notes - 1. Spiral Notebooks are not allowed
             2. Plastic folders are more durable (pockets should be on the bottom, not on the side).
             3. Girls should bring in sanitary napkins to keep at school. 
             4. Please label all supplies with your name and grade.
