VOCABULARY WORDS
1. Paschal - a word that means "of or relating to the Passover"
2. Mass - the celebration of the Eucharist
3. Eucharist - a word that means "thanksgiving"
4. Chrism - performed holy oil
5. Paschal Mystery - the suffering, death, Resurrection, and Ascension of Jesus Christ
6. Sacrament - an effective sign given to us by Jesus Christ through which we share in God's life.
7. Sanctifying Grace - the grace that we receive in the sacraments.
8. Liturgy - the official public prayer of the Church.

VOCABULARY WORDS
1. blasphemy - a thought, word, or act making fun of showing contempt or hatred of God
2. conscience - the most basic awareness in us of what is right and wrong
3. cursing - the act of calling on God to do harm to a person
4. Decalogue - another name for the Ten Commandments
5. Euthanasia - the act of intentionally brining about the death of one who is gravely ill
6. Counter-Reformation - the period in history in which the Church began a substantial program of reform which answered, or countered, the crisis begun by the Protestant Reformation
7. Evangelize - to proclaim the good news of Christ to people everywhere

VOCABULARY WORDS
1. Linear Equation - A value that does not change.
2. Equation - Ratios that name the same comparison.
3. Proportion - A equation that states that two ratios are equivalent.
4. Y-axis - Veritcal line on a coordinate plane.
5. X-axis - Horizontal line on a coordinate plane.
6. Constant - Unit that never changes.
7. Slope - A measure of the steepness of a line on a graph; the rise divided by the run.
8. Rate of Change - A ratio that compares the amount of change in a dependent variable to the amount of change in an independent variable. 
9. Proportional Relationship - A relationship between two quantities in which the ration of one quantity to the other quantity is constant.
10. Constant of Proportionality- A proportional relationship can be described by an equation of the form y=kx, where k is constant of Proportionality.

VOCABULARY WORDS
1. Percent - A ratio comparing a number to a 100.
2. Equivalent Ratios - Ratios that name the same comparison.
3. Proportion - A equation that states that two ratios are equivalent.
4. Rate - A ratio that compares two quantities measured in different units.
5. Ratios - A comparison of two quantities by division
6. Unit Rates - A rate in which the second quantity in the comparison is one unit.
7. Percent Decrease - A percent change describing a decrease in quantity.
8. Percent Increase - A percent change describing a increase in quantity.
9. Principal - The initial amount of money borrowed or saved.
10. Simple Interest- A fixed percent of the principal. It is found using the formula l=Prt, where P represents the principal, r the rate of interest, and t the time.

6. Simplest Form - a fraction is in simplest form when the numerator and denominator have only 1 as a common factor.
