VOCABULARY WORDS
1. Denominator - the number below the bar in a fraction that tells how many equal part are in the whole or in the group.
2. Equivalent Fractions - Fractions that name the same amount or part.
3. Mixed Number - a number that is made up of a whole number and a fraction.
4. Numerator - the number above the bar in a fraction that tells how many equal parts of the whole or group are being considered.
5. Product - the answer to a multiplication problem.
6. Simplest Form - a fraction is in simplest form when the numerator and denominator have only 1 as a common factor.
7. Common Multiple - a number that is a multiple of two or more numbers.
8. Common Denominator - a common multiple of two more more denominators.
